from the inner-most Import
method in RealmArchiveModelImporter
...
One of my pending work items for post-realm merge.
The lowest-level import task is no longer asynchronous, as we don't want
it to span multiple threads to allow easier interaction with realm.
Removing the `Task` spec simplifies a heap of usages.
Individual usages should decide whether they want to run the import
asynchronously, by either using an alternative override or spooling up a
thread themselves.

Until now, skins were always imported using the `LegacySkin`
instantiation type. For cases where a user has edited the lazer or
classic default (via the new skin editor), which would result in
incorrect fallback paths after exporting and importing the edited skin.

Ensure skin is saved immediately after becoming mutable
...
Without doing this, the JSON content is not written to the file. A user
assumption is that as soon as a skin shows up in the skin list as
exportable, it should export correctly, so it makes sense that it should
be in a sane state even if the user has not made any changes in the skin
editor yet.
Going forward, we might move more of the json serialisation logic out,
and run for consistency as part of the import process. This seems like
the simplest way to guarantee things for now, though.

As this has regressed twice now, let's play it safe and bail rather than
stack overflowing. Note that as all the underlying issues that could
trigger this have been fixed, no additional tests have been added. To
test, comment out `SkinManager.cs` line 228-229 to cause a failure. The
new logic will kick in and show a log output message, but all tests will
still (correctly) pass.

Always write automated changes to skin metadata at the end of the file
...
Apart from being cleaner (and allowing removal at the point of export,
if that is ever requires), this also gives us a better guarantee that
the metadata is going to take effect.
By writing the `[General]` section ourselves, we avoid any issues that
may be present from a user constructing the file (incorrectly)
themselves, such as multiple `Title:` entries or a malformed `[General]`
marker.
The main goal is to ensure that the name is updated to what we expect it
to be.

`IHasComboColours` was already mutable (via a strange
`AddComboColours()` method) and exposing a straight list is easier to
work with. `IHasCustomColours` is also similarly externally mutable (in

I am aware there are more throughout the codebase but intentionally left
the remaining mentioned for one reason or another. The intention here is
to mainly change user-facing versioning to change the positioning of the
"lazer" term (to be where we would expect "cuttingedge" or "beta" to
be).

Some skinnable drawables can have 0 width or height in certain
cases, leading to division by 0 and a crash when the position is

The previous implementation was checking if the `x0` or `x2` anchors
were selected to decide on which way to transfer the drawable's scale,
but that check actually ends up being always true for corner anchors. To
visualise, this is how the corner anchors correspond to `Anchor` flags:

The Os indicate where the reference anchors are on a selection box.
The first conditional eliminates the middle ones, which makes sense.
But after excluding them from further deliberations (marking via X):

y2 -O---X---O-
| | |
The remaining anchors always have `x0` or `x2` set. So to avoid
confusion, just always transfer one way for now. At some point this
should be torn out in favour of an actual implementation of the desired

Allow skin editor to be invoked from any context
...
This is kind of how I see things working going forward, where the editor
can be applied to anything in the game which supports it (ie. a results
screen, gameplay screen, etc.) and it will immediately allow changing
the interface.
This adds a test scene which shows this working with gameplay.

Fix potential race in looping sample
...
As mentioned via GitHub comments. Very unlikely for this to happen unless: the sample takes a short amount of time to load, is very short itself, and the update thread stalls until the sample fully completes.

Change conditional used to decide legacy judgement animation to match stable
...
In stable, the type of legacy judgement to show is based on the presence
of particle textures in the skin. We were using the skin version
instead, which turns out to be incorrect and not what some user skins
expect.
Closes #11078 .
