From a852a27dfb04540e3c43163684cb296d46424179 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Dean Herbert Date: Mon, 30 Nov 2020 19:36:30 +0900 Subject: [PATCH] Fix current beatmap temporarily becoming empty during ruleset change When changing the ruleset at song select, there was a scenario where it would be set to default (empty) for one debounce length where this was not actually required. This occurs when the currently selected beatmap set has other difficulties which match the target ruleset, specifically. --- osu.Game/Screens/Select/SongSelect.cs | 15 +++++++++++++-- 1 file changed, 13 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) diff --git a/osu.Game/Screens/Select/SongSelect.cs b/osu.Game/Screens/Select/SongSelect.cs index b55c0694ef..f32011a27a 100644 --- a/osu.Game/Screens/Select/SongSelect.cs +++ b/osu.Game/Screens/Select/SongSelect.cs @@ -376,7 +376,7 @@ namespace osu.Game.Screens.Select if (selectionChangedDebounce?.Completed == false) { selectionChangedDebounce.RunTask(); - selectionChangedDebounce.Cancel(); // cancel the already scheduled task. + selectionChangedDebounce?.Cancel(); // cancel the already scheduled task. selectionChangedDebounce = null; } @@ -465,19 +465,30 @@ namespace osu.Game.Screens.Select void run() { + // clear pending task immediately to track any potential nested debounce operation. + selectionChangedDebounce = null; + Logger.Log($"updating selection with beatmap:{beatmap?.ID.ToString() ??
